So while kicking around down in the Bio basement i stumbled across something that can only be described as a real life time machine! Covered in an old dust sheet and brimming with all the knobs and bobs that you might find on an Atari. All light and shimmery and magical! The prospect of being able to travel back to any point in musical history and grab anything i wanted was dazzling! Imagine the tracks!

But It all sounds like a lot of hard work and effort! And knowing my luck when it comes to technical gadgets I would wind up in the wrong year having my ankle gnawed by a hungry stegosaurus! So i packed said time machine safely away on the "important" shelf (next to the Sodastream & breville sandwich toaster) and then stared blankly into space for a few minutes trying to remember why i had come down to the basement in the first place! I still can't remember, but the point is, this week we decided to complicate life for ourselves even more by adding yet another new section to our channel! Which is no mean feat considering the limited space YouTube gives us to work with, things are getting as tight as a camels ass in a sandstorm over there! But with a bit of brute force and some trance jelly, we managed to squeeze in another playlist just for you!
Oldskool Remixes & Mashups!
As the title suggests, it's all about classic dance tunes mixed and mashed. A playlist that does exactly what it says on the tin! A collection of timeless tunes from back in the day with a modern twist. I'm usually the first to say that you should never mess with a classic. But in the spirit of evolution and with an open mind we present you some of the best remixes and mashups on offer! Anyone who knows me, knows I have a deep respect for your love! well not your's personally! (don't get excited) I'm talking about Frankie Knuckles & Jamie Principle's Godly 1987 production of the same name! So I was hard pushed to bring myself to accept anything other than the original. But after listening to a few that made me want to actually shoot myself in the face. I settled upon one that I think is probably the closest we could possibly hope to get without completely destroying the magic. We've added a few other mixed & mashed up classics for you to peruse at your leisure, Including: The Age Of Love , D-Shake, Beltram, Moby, The Prodigy ...etc We will be constantly adding to the playlist over time, so check them out, hop over to the channel, see what you think and let us know in the comment box under the video's.
This is usually the point where our hardcore trance fans and subscribers start running to the hills, screaming for their mummy's! Or writing letters of complaint to the BBC and stomping off in a sulk because they can't understand the World at anything less than 140 beats per minute! Or without the guidance of a viral instructional safety video of a family bouncing around in a car on YouTube to the latest trance belter! (only messing - we love them too..but still)
Awww nevermind! Jonetta uses the complaint letters for loo roll anyway!
(after we've all had a good laugh at them obviously)
But before you get too upset, you know we love trance as much as you do, It's just that we try not to go all Annie Wilkes and set about hobbling other genres with a lump hammer!

We have something special planned for the YouTube channel just for our trance section. So hang in there trancers, over the coming weeks we will be breaking out the WD40 for another playlist - with your name on!
